Mission Statement

A great deal of controversy surrounds anyone today who dares mouth the word conspiracy in challenging some commonly accepted theory or conclusion promoted by the mainstream media. In the wake of the book and movie on the heretical work The Da Vinci Code, Masonic apologists have tripped over themselves to absolve the Freemasons from all guilt implied in this novel-turned-movie. To hear broadcast media tell the story, the Masons are the equivalent of an adult Boy Scout troop with a bad rap. Catholics true to their faith know better. Leon de Poncins, in his work Freemasonry and the Vatican clearly demonstrates that the whitewash of Freemasonry, which began in the 1950s, was studiously ignored by Pope Pius XII, who upheld the Church's teaching on Masonry until his death in 1958. Only during the reign of antipope John 23 did the "negotiations" between Freemasonry and the Church gain ground. And as de Poncins further noted, Masons refer to themselves as conspirators. Quoting from the Masonic publication La Massoneria, (Florence, 1945) de Poncins delivers this all-purpose definition of Freemasonry straight form the horse's mouth: "Freemasonry is…a permanent conspiracy against political and religious despotism."

What many do not understand is that for Catholics obedient to the teachings of the Popes, who speak only in Christ's name, belief in the Masonic conspiracy is not an option but a bounden duty dependent on their very membership in the Church. This is the teaching of the Vatican Council on infallibility. The Council designated four distinguishing marks of infallibility: The Pope must be speaking to all the faithful, as the Universal Pastor, on a matter of faith or morals, and he must somehow indicate that his teaching is to be held as infallible, irreversible, (DZ 1839). If the faithful refuse to recognize a document bearing these marks as infallible — or if, in the case of Freemasonry, they join a Masonic sect or favor such sects or their teachings, contrary to the laws of the Church — they suffer automatic excommunication, losing their status as Church members. The excommunication pronounced against those who conspire against the Church or any lawful government can be found in Can. 2335, (1917 Code of Canon Law). This grave disciplinary measure is a sign that such a condemnation is very serious in nature and is irreversible unless one repents and is absolved; for whoever is outside the Church cannot be saved. Therefore, those who ridicule Catholic belief in a Masonic conspiracy theory actually deny true Catholics free exercise of their religion. They also contradict the wise counsels of those Popes esteemed as knowledgeable and credible, even by their enemies, at the time these condemnations were written. Few indeed would dispute the obvious meaning of these words from Pope Leo XIII's Humanum Genus: "Our predecessors, ever vigilant and solicitous for the safety of the Christian people, promptly detected the presence of this dangerous enemy and its designs, as soon as it came out of the darkness in which it had been secretly plotting…Whatever Our Predecessors have decreed in view of opposing the designs and machinations of Freemasonry,…we ratify and confirm. Full of confidence in the good will of Christians we beg and beseech each one of them, for the sake of his eternal salvation, to consider it a sacred obligation never in the least to deviate from what the Apostolic See has enjoined in this matter."

In this same encyclical, Pope Leo XIII made it clear that Freemasonry is a threat to the existence of the Catholic Church and must be combated at all costs. "Freemasons,…no longer making any secret of their purposes, are planning the destruction of Holy Church publicly and openly…with the set purpose of utterly destroying the nations of Christendom…Lamenting these evils, We are constrained by the charity which urges Our heart to cry out often to God: 'For lo, Thy enemies have made a noise; and they that hate Thee have lifted up the head. They have taken a malicious counsel against Thy people and they have consulted against Thy saints. They have said, Come let us destroy them, so that they be not a nation. At so urgent a crisis, when so fierce and so pressing an onslaught is made upon the Christian name, it is Our office to point out the danger, to mark who are the adversaries and to the best of Our power to make headway against their plans and devices, that they may not perish whose salvation is committed to Us." How could anyone believe that a condemnation of a sect described as planning to destroy the Church and all of Christendom, specifically relying on previous condemnations for its basis, could somehow not be infallible? Especially considering that one Pope, at least, pronounced that Satan personally directs these destructive societies?

This web site is dedicated to unmasking the Masonic conspiracy wherever it may be found and exposing its primary intent to destroy the Catholic Church. It is the purpose of these pages to champion the truth at all costs and to defang those poisonous "serpents in the bosom of the Church" (Pope St. Pius X) who, under the guise of Catholicity, seek to twist and falsify the truths of Faith. We place this site under the patronage of that tireless missionary and fervent defender of the faith, St. Anthony Mary Claret, who survived no less than 14 attempts on his life by Freemasons.
